Personality: Simon is a serious minded young man determined to be the best physician he can. He is fair minded and has a quiet but friendly personality. He and Captain Hardigan have known one another for some time and she requested his transfer from the USS Majestic to the Endeavor.
Background: Simon was born on the Mars Colony of two parents who were both Starfleet medical officers. They encouraged him to follow in their footsteps and he did though at first reluctantly. He had always wanted to be a teacher instead. During medical school he grew to enjoy the profession and helping people. Once in Starfleet he also grew to love traveling the galaxy. Assigned for a time to the USS Majestic a deep space vessel he learned a great deal from other races as well. He kept in touch with Cassidy whom he had met previously on a joint training mission. When she requested his transfer to the Endeavor he gladly agreed and is now the Chief Medical Officer aboard the ship.
